The Liquid Benefit
The fact that molasses is a liquid, provides a number of unique benefits including de-dusting and low substitution rate, but not all liquids have the same benefits to rumen fermentation. It is sugars that drive fermentation and there are liquids on the market that have already been fermented and therefore have little fermentable value.
