Biopro Prime 32 is a molasses-based liquid supplements which contain sugars, protein and essential vitamins and trace elements. Suitable for feeding to cattle. Prime 32 contains 32% crude protein as fed.
When to use Prime 32
For cattle on forage and straw/cereal-based systems Prime 32 can be fed at approximately 1-1.5 litre/head/day with straw/ forage, providing a maintenance ration for spring calving suckler cows. Autumn calvers and young stock can also be fed very effectively on this system, although for extra levels of production, some additional dry feed supplementation would be required. For rearing heifers Dairy heifers respond well to this type of system particularly when it is straw based, since there is more control of the ration. This allows targeted live-weight gains to be achieved whilst developing good rumen function and optimum frame size for entry into the breeding herd.
Feeding Prime 32
Prime 32 can be poured over forage, fed as part of a complete diet or given free-access through wheel-lick feeders. Wheel-lick feeders come in a variety of shapes and sizes, as shown, available in 35 litre, 95 litre and 250 litre sizes. The 95 litre can be attached to a storage tank and topped up daily with a simple turn of the tap.
